Best way to Qualify Online for the
I’m going to show you how I plan to qualify for the 2006 World Series of Poker for the 3rd year running. Included here are, step by step instructions to what I believe are the 2 best online options to qualify for the 2007 WSOP Main Event (pay special attention to option 2) I can already feel the butterflies and excitement brewing…watching the 2005 WSOP on ESPN all summer and fall has made me hungry to get my seat as early as possible this year. Although many online poker sites... are now starting their World Series of Poker qualifying…I am happy to report the best promotions for this years event are found at our featured online site PokerRoom.com. In years past I wouldn’t have said this… but this year PokerRoom has really done it right… giving you 2 excellent alternatives for qualifying for the 2006 World Series of Poker. Here’s how it works…
Pay special attention to Option 2, which I feel, is the best online qualifying option on the web this year. So let’s get to it…
Option 1- WSOP Satellite Eight times each day (beginning at 12:30am) you can play in a Stage 1 WSOP/WPT qualifier for $8+1… where PokerRoom gives away one Stage 2 ticket for each 9 entrants in this Stage 1 event. For example, if there are 45 entrants then 5 players will win a Stage 2 ticket. The Stage 2 qualifiers are run four times daily. Your stage 1 ticket gives you automatic entry to the Stage 2 qualifier or you can buy in for $65+5. In the Stage 2 qualifier PokerRoom gives away one seat for every 10 entrants into the $620+30 WSOP Main Event qualifier. For example, if there are 100 entrants then 10 players will win a seat into the $620 event. Once your in the $620+30 Finale (which will be run on Monday nights at 9pm) you are one step way from Las Vegas and the 2006 World Series of Poker Main Event. If you do the math then you know PokerRoom will be sending 1 player for each 22 entrants into this event. This comes to a total package worth $13,500…which covers your $10,000 entry into the WSOP Main Event, travel and hotel accommodations… plus spending money. Unlike a site like PokerStars, where you have to best a field of several hundred hopefuls, the odds at PokerRoom.com are much more favorable. Now please pay attention to option 2… because I’m about to tell you how I plan on qualifying for the 2006 World Series of Poker. This to me represents the best value in online poker for winning your seat to the 2006 World Series of Poker. If you focus your efforts here then you to can be joining me at the WSOP Main Event. I’m going to make this explanation as simple and painless as possible. I’ve included a flow chart that illustrates all the concepts I will explain so I can keep this as short as possible.
Option 2 – WSOP Sit & Go Tournaments In this format you can qualify for the 2006 WSOP by playing a sit & go for as little as $5+1. If you’re like me then you love playing online Sit and Go’s single table tournaments. I typically play sit & go’s ranging from $50 up to $200. Well, at PokerRoom.com you can play in your normal sit and go events and if you finish in the money you will win the cash you’re accustomed to BUT THIS TIME… PokerRoom will throw in a free ticket into various WSOP qualifying stages (as described in Option 1) Are you kidding me…this is the best online deal going!!! Typically, I’ll play anywhere from 3 to 10 Sit and Go’s each day…usually finishing in the money in around half of them.
