More than any other site... PokerStars gives the more skilled player an opportunity to outplay his opponents and build a stack, lessening the likelihood of having to push All In and gamble pre-flop. This is a super important point and one of the big reasons I've experienced alot of my successes there. Let’s take a closer look…
What differentiates an excellent hold’em player from a mediocre one is his ability to outplay his opponent after the flop. The longer you get to play after the flop, the better your chances of success. Because the blind structure at PokerStars in single table (and multi player) tournaments is so slow, you get a lot more chances to see flops and outplay your opponents. At lesser online poker rooms, like PartyPoker, the blind structures are too aggressive, so you’re forced to make a lot of pre- flop moves, where you have less control over the hand.
Also, because you have more chips at PokerStars.com you can come back from losing some of your chips early on. At PokerStars, you have far more control over your own destiny and that’s a key to long term success playing poker online. 2- DuplicatePoker.com is a strange but interesting version of Texas Holdem that I have been trying out. At first, I wasn't too crazy about it but the more I played, the more it started to grow on me. It's Texas Holdem, with a splash of Chess strategy thrown in. As the banners on our site say, it's 100% legal to US players and they take credit cards! I tried it, unreal, took me 2 minutes to put money in from my AMEX card. DuplicatePoker.com gives you $3 just to come and try it out, no strings attached.
